Navratri day 1- Goddess Shailaputri Pooja Procedure 2016: As we all knows one of all nine forms of goddess Durga worship in every day. So here we talking about the first day as we know the first form of Goddess Durga is shailputri. It means “Shail” means Mountain and “Putri” means Daughter that is why she is called shailaputri – the daughter of Mountain. On the first day of Navratri is also referred to Goddess Parvati. The picture of Maa Shailaputri is a heavenly lady she holding a Trishul in her right hand and lotus flower in left hand and the most important she rides on “Nandi” a bull. She is a symbol of awakening the “shakti”power to their purpose in life because without energy and we said worship of Goddess shailaputri to make full precious human life.

On the First day of Navratri, we all are get up early in the morning wear the grey colour dress then make prasad for Goddess Shailputri in which use pure ghee because that day we offered the “Pure ghee”. After making prasad we doing Pooja like aarti of goddess shailaputri and offered the prasad. At evening they do the same thing after that they eat fast food in the evening.
